It's true, country music is not considered to be 'popular music'. But is popular music or mainstream 'top 40' music as interesting as the teeny boppers would lead us to believe? Here at country kids we truly believe that the country music genre receives insufficient coverage in the wider society. It is a large industry though and it embodies the feelings and emotions of the hard working middle class, so why don’t more people appreciate and invest in this genre?

That is what this blog will address. We hope to bridge the gap in coverage of this far too under publicised and acknowledged genre. So sit back and enjoy, while you learn more about country music and the joy it brings to so many people around the world. Now we just need to extend that joy to the wider society. Bring on the country music craze.

Come on Video Hits, play some of the country stuff!
